Excel for Beginners
This Excel for Beginners course is for anybody who uses Excel for simple tasks at home or at work, such as tracking costs or calculating sums and totals. This online course is meant for those who have never used Excel or only have a rudimentary knowledge of the software. It’s also perfect for anyone who is familiar with prior versions of the application but is unfamiliar with the most recent. If you’re reentering the workforce, this course will be a terrific match for you and will help you catch up with your colleagues.
Course Summary
The lesson starts by defining terms like “What is a cell?” and “How can I know the difference between a column and a row?” The course goes on to cover basic Excel principles including creating, copying, deleting, and cutting data from Excel cells. You’ll also learn how to modify data that’s been entered into a cell, as well as how to insert and edit comments in Excel.
Sheets are a completely different idea from cells, and will be covered in the Excel overview, which is only a tiny part of the beginning course. You’ll learn how to rename a sheet, remove it, hide and unhide it, and move and copy it in this part. You’ll also discover how to alter the colour of tabs.
