AutoCAD 2D & 3D Training Course
Educad Academy offers a comprehensive AutoCAD course designed for beginners, students, and aspiring CAD professionals who want to build strong technical skills in computer-aided design. This course starts with the fundamentals, introducing CAD concepts, AutoCAD interface, workspace navigation, units, limits, and coordinate systems.
You will gain hands-on experience with essential 2D drawing commands such as lines, polylines, circles, arcs, rectangles, and advanced editing tools including move, copy, rotate, mirror, scale, trim, extend, fillet, and chamfer. The course also focuses on drawing organization, teaching layer management, object properties, hatch and gradient tools, blocks, groups, and editing techniques to maintain professional-quality designs.
Annotation and dimensioning are covered in depth, including text, Mtext, dimension tools and styles, leaders, multileaders, and annotation scaling for accurate, standardized drawings. Students will also learn layout setup, viewports, scaling, page configuration, plotting, PDF export, and professional sheet printing to prepare designs for real-world use.
The course introduces 3D modeling concepts with practical exercises on 3D workspace navigation, creating primitives, extrude, revolve, sweep, loft, Boolean operations, and basic rendering. A final project allows students to create a 2D architectural floor plan, electrical or mechanical drawings, and a basic 3D model, providing a complete hands-on experience.
By the end of the course at Educad Academy, participants will have the practical skills to create professional AutoCAD drawings, confidently use 2D and 3D tools, and pursue careers in CAD design, architecture, engineering, or technical drafting.
